Starting this year (2014-2015) we will be teaching a more rigorous set of 6th Grade math lessons using the new TEKS (Texas's classroom standards: Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills). We will get students ready to be successful for future grades, tests, as well as for their future. We will be learning Pre-Algebra skills. If you click on my name, you will see a set of links under my picture (actually my avatar :) - these links include notes to concepts, vocabulary, tricks to solve the math, and more.
