The Lady Stallion Volleyball teams have had a busy couple of weeks. After competing in the Hardin Jefferson tournament, they hosted Groves Middle School. The 7th grade lost a tough one, but they continue to improve and find their strengths. The 8th grade "B" lost in 3 sets but had good hustle and determination from London Thomas and Treasure Anderson. The 8th "A" won in 2 sets with great serving and hits from the player of the game, Makensly Bell! The Lady Stallions traveled to LCM yesterday to play a strong team. The 7th grade lost in 2 sets, 8-25 and 14-25. Please continue to build these girls up. it's been an up-and-down season, but our expectations are still the same! Teamwork and discipline! The 8th "B" won their match 15-7 and 15-13! They have been working extra on their skills and team building! The player of the game was LaLani Levi, with awesome net play! The 8th "A" started a little shaky but pulled it together to take home the victory! They lost the first set 25-20, won the second set 25-21, and won the third set 15-12! They have been focusing on hitting with a purpose and placement! The ENTIRE team was the player of the game! Thanks to everyone for supporting the Lady Stallions! Next game is on Monday @ Silsbee!!
