West Orange - Stark Middle School will be on a Winter Break starting at 12:30 Thursday, December 19th and school will resume Wednesday, January 8th.

Students and Staff are able to celebrate this festive season with dress up days.
Tuesday, December 17th - Holiday Shirt
Wednesday, December 18th - Ugly Sweater
Thursday, December 19th - Red or Green Shirt

The West Orange Stark Middle School Student Council needs your help. We are working to help make the holiday season brighter for our community by collecting canned food and toys. The toy and canned food drive will be Tuesday, November 12th until Wednesday, December 4th. We will deliver toy donations to the Service League of Orange Annual Toy Coffee and canned food to the Granger/KOGT Annual Food Drive on December 5th.
Please bring unwrapped toys and/or canned goods to your first period class. The class that collects the most items (canned food and/or toys) will receive a skating party!

Donation Hints:
· New, unwrapped toys (all age groups)
· Older children (ages 11-17 years) are often overlooked. Consider donating books, gift cards, electronic gaming accessories, sporting equipment etc. for this age group.
· Non-perishable canned food items

Help West Orange Middle School show that we are Drug-Free by participating in our annual Red Ribbon Week activities for the week of October 28- November 1.

Show that West Orange Stark Middle School has "Teamed up against Drugs" by wearing your favorite spirit gear.

Wednesday, October 30th show you are Drug and Bully Free by wearing red.

Tuesday, October 29th help West Orange Middle School "Put a cap on drugs" by wearing your favorite cap to school.

Students dress your best for Picture Day Tuesday, October 29th.

Monday, October 28th show you are Drug-Free by wearing your Crazy Socks (with shoes).
