Dear WOSMS Families, Staff, Students, and Community,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I’m truly excited and honored to serve as the new principal of West Orange-Stark Middle School. Having once been a student and later a teacher here at WOSMS, stepping into the role of principal feels like coming home. It’s not just an opportunity, it’s a personal honor and a powerful reminder of how far we can grow in a place that believes in us.

This year, our theme is “BEST is the Standard,” and that’s the energy we’re bringing into everything we do. We believe that when we give our best, expect the best, and model the best, we create an environment where every student succeeds and every adult thrives. We are blessed with an incredible team of educators and staff who are committed to excellence, and I have no doubt we will accomplish great things together.

Our focus this year will be centered around:

·         Building strong relationships with students, families, and each other

·         Learning experiences that elevate instruction to ensure that every student experience meaningful, engaging learning not just for the STAAR test, but for true TEKS mastery

·         Shared accountability where we each take responsibility for making our campus better every day

We will also align closely with the district’s core priorities that everything centers around academics, behavior, and attendance. These three pillars will be the heartbeat of our work from classroom planning to student supports and daily operations.

To our families and community partners, please know that you are essential to our success. Your involvement and support are key to creating a learning environment where every student can thrive. Let’s keep the lines of communication open and continue working together as a united team.
