ASD Information

After School Detention (ASD) is assigned to students for not following classroom or school rules. It starts after school and students are required to stay until 6pm to receive credit. Students are assigned ASD by teachers or administration. When assigned, students have one week to complete the assignment or further steps will be taken. There is a bus to take the students home at 6pm. If the student is going to be picked up by a parent/guardian after the detention is completed, they will meet the parent/guardian in front of the school, NOT in the normal parent pick-up location. If the student's ride has not arrived by 6pm, the ASD teacher may require the student to get on the 6 pm bus to go home.
